No, I am not. Remember at school, how to butch, strong school bully could barely do 5-6 and the skinny guy that couldn't hurt a fly could do about 10-12?? Also, do you know those machines in the gym that help you with your pull-ups by counter-balancing weight? Well, notice how many more you can do percentage wise by counterballancing an additional 7kg...does that not tell you something? 7 kg is 10% of my body weight. If I counterballance with 7 kg, I can do much more than 10% additional pull-ups - more like 300% in fact! Now, that tells ME something!:good
I have a theory that one of the best ways to decide your ideal build/weight is to find out with what kind of build/weight you can do most pull-ups.
That would only be your ideal build for doing one specific excercise - cutting your legs off would assist pull-ups also -fullstop-
Yeah, one specific exercise that says a lot about build/weight, in my view. What do you reckon is the best single exercise/test to establish your ideal build/weight?
Obviously, it has to be for something...I'd say, for allround survival potential in extreme situations and environments: jungle/ desert/ tundra/ mountains/ arctic...how about that?
Swimming maybe - swimmers have a little fat (some fat is good) to them as well as every kind of fitness
