How many pull-ups can you do?

    Starting with arms completely out-stretched, shoulder-width apart, lifting until the chin is above the bar, and back down again

    OK, that's what I had assumed. I also assume that flailing your legs and such is incorrect?

    Did 27 yesterday.. A bit sore from the work the day before though. So next week Im toppin 30.... Its just working those muscles and leaning out. Obviously dropping weight and adding strength is the key to big pull up numbers, all of them for that matter. Peace.

    Are pull-ups usefull for boxing since no punch muscles are involved?

    Oh well I'm sorry, it was just a question. I do not really have so much knowledge about the human body.
    I can do like 4 pull-ups anyway:oops:

    32 was my max for pullups on a good day. I normally do sets of 25.
