How many punches will Calzaghe throw against Hopkins?

500-800 imo ,Calzaghe ain't a clown he will be conserving energy during the first half of the fight to see how he's coping with the extra weight , down the home stretch is where he will do the damage ,Late tko for Joe , All that late leather will take its toll on Hopkins . Regards Josey Wales

 

750-900 if it goes well for him wich i doubt he will throw 1000 or more

 

If its more than 700 Hopkins will lose for sure. X has to neutralize Calzaghe's high workrate with a ton of holding.

Wont matter. Bhop's best punch is the shot Calzaghe is open for. A right hand thrown under the guard like an uppercut. Bhops patent punch. If he can turn the clock back 5 years Calzaghe is getting put on his ass.

 

I'd bet on less than 500, though it wouldn't surprise me if he threw and landed 1000 in the 3 rounds it will take for Calzaghe to get the TKO.

 

This urban or should I say euro legend is getting ended in the Bhop fight. I am fully convinced Bhop is going to hurt the slap happy off balance goof.

Come on now. He threw over 1000, not landed them. He threw almost exactly the same amount for the Kessler fight and landed less than 300.

Anyway. I voted 750-999.

Went 0-500, but it is possible to fire off 500-750. I can't see him going higher than that against Hopkins.
