    I do recall a few voices in the wilderness. Muhammad,as we all know was a massive underdog,prior to his fight with George. Ken Norton was one. He predicted an Ali win,along with Colin Hart of The Sun newspaper. Can anyone recall anyone else ?

    I don't believe that one former linear heavyweight champ,living at the time,backed Muhammad either.

    As I said,Colin Hart of The Sun did. His colleagues in other papers thought he was mad !!! I told eveyone,at the time,that Ali would win. Hand on heart though,I did n't believe it deep down.

    he would have in modern day as it would have been in somewhere like vegas where no excuses for loose ropes or ridiculous heat.

    That's interesting to know :good I had n't yet discovered Boxing News in '74. I was already on The Ring and Boxing Illustrated though.
