And changed it back again. Wearing a Foreman button, then changing it back to an Ali one.

You kinda had to be a little crazy to predict an Ali win

"All i had to do was go out and beat a man who had no skill, no class. I don't know why the world was so foolish to believe in him and think that i wasnt gunna win. He only beat Joe Frazier who was fat and off that night. The man fights like a woman, he's wild, no skill, no science and ugly, and i dont know why the world thinks im so great now because i beat George Foreman. He wasn't nothing no way, you overestimated him i tried to tell you he wasn't nothing."

Ali. If anyone else spoke like he did you'd call them deluded

ali said the same thing about frazier - ali's ego talking - he took foreman more serious in training than any other fighter - why cuz he was easy to beat - i don't think so lol. foreman destoyed the only fighters to beat ali in 2 rounds. i don't give fotc 71 frazier a chance against 73 foreman - look at how many times ali hit frazier in the early rounds. his style is made for foreman.

  9. absolutely. foreman would stop any version of frazier and any short puncher in the history. frazier was very good even in 1973, he wa sundefeated and he was 29 years old. he was not in his peak71 but he was in his prime. frazier did look worse than he was really because foreman destroyed him. even frazier75 gave the hell to ali. styles make fights.

    did he.
hugh mcilvanney said he knew of a way to beat foreman but it consisted of shelling him for a few hours with artillery before sending the infantry in

Yeah? Very interesting. Two scientific boxers probably seeing a lot of the same things Ali himself did. Had been in too many scraps to be as impressed by Foremans brute power as most others were.
