Will not see the 12th. Specially with his 1 year retirements someone is gonna break him and it'll be Canelo.

Until Canelo actually fights and beats an elite fighter (or even close to elite), there is zero reason why you should think he'd beat Mayweather.

Because it's my Opinion, 2013 will probably see. After cotto gets his **** pushed in, Martinez can get it to since he does want to move to 154 where the big money fights are at :bbb

Mayweather win's on points, around 7 rounds to 5 with Canelo always dangerous and roughing Floyd up,Floyd wont fight him though..

I still think Mayweather knows too much , if Matthew Hatton can keep him honest for 12 rounds then even at 36 Mayweather toys with him.

Yeah ok. There were people who said Chavez Jr would make it look easy against Sergio. I guess there's always a few.

Canelo is good, I like him, but threads like this make me develop the itch to see someone like Rosado knock him out just to humble Canelo's rabid fanboys. Mayweather's work ethic deserves more respect. Even with a long layoff he ALWAYS make sure he is in top shape, both mentally and physically, on fight night.

No, Cotto troubled Mayweather because he's a damn good fighter and he forced Floyd to trade.

Canelo won't have that success because he's just not as good.

 your overly love for your mexican fighters is even worse than the *****'s for Floyd. First you claim Jr. would beat Martinez, and now you have nerve to ask how long Floyd will last against Canelo? You must really be bored. But if you must know, he'd last the whole 12 rounds to an easy UD victory. What a stupid puto you are.

Yes, but does he pressure as well? Jab as well? Canelo's an interesting matchup and probably has a chance of winning against Floyd. But I wonder if he's a little too stationary and fights too much in spurts to beat Floyd, even a Floyd that's only getting older.

I think Canelo's corner throw the towel in.

Alvarez probably doesnt match up well with Floyd, unless Floyd's age really becomes a factor. Alvarez never fought at that level before.
