How many of the fighters that Golovkin has beat was ranked in the top 10 at MW by the Ring at the time of the fight (right before)?

That's a weak Top 10, but it is what it is.

    Thanks.

The major ones he didn't face during these years would be Martinez, Chavez jr, Cotto and Canelo, right?

7 of Golovkin's 13 opponents since he debuted in the US in 2012 were consensus top 10 middleweights: Proksa, Macklin, Stevens, Geale, Rubio, Murray, and Lemieux. How many other recent champions defended 7 times against top 10 opponents at their weight over three and a half years? And to put the division in perspective: put the 6 guys who weren't top 10 mw on Jacob's record over the last three years, Rosado, Monroe, Brook, Ishida, Adama, and Wade, and Jacob's record would be better than it is now. Sure it's not an atg resume and there are guys he should have fought over that period, but there's simply no middleweight whose resume compares closely to Golovkin's.

    What?

You can just as well say "didn't face him" if that feels better. I was just stating that they hadn't faced each other. I know full well Golovkin didn't duck anyone of them, that it was rather the other way around if anything.

Ultimately, it doesn't matter because 17 titlists including three successive lineal middleweight champions ducked him - the most ducked in history and it will be one of the reasons why he will make HOF.

He has taken every ring top 10 that had the courage to fight him. Unfortunately duck list would have made more justice for his legacy.

Add in Canelo, Jacobs, Saunders, Cotto, and Martinez. Basically they all took L's in avoiding GGG. Truth.

Who cares about The Ring. TBRB is clearly better.

The Ring used to be known as The Boxing Bible but since Oscar & GBP took it over its just become the GBP 's own publication. Nat Fleischer would spin in his grave if he knew what they've done to it
Its hard for GGG to beat ranked middleweights when they are all reluctant to get in ring with him
    He is just that GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
