***Re-watched and scored Alvarez earlier this week.

 

He lost 7 rounds in the first Maidana fight.

8-4 over Cotto, 11-1 over Guerrero, 12-0 over Alvarez, 7-5 over Maidana, 9-3 over Maidana in the rematch, 8-4 over Pacquiao, and 11-1 over Berto

So its its total 18 rounds lost

 

I score fights as they happen, sometimes rescore close fights, but I don't keep scorecards, and though I usually remember how many rounds I gave each fighter from big fights definitely don't remember which rounds. This question is just too nerdy for all but a handful of even hardcore fans like myself.

Total of 20 rounds I had going against Floyd. That said, FMJ was in many ways a victim of his own effectiveness. He was so good at what he did that one tended to key in on his opponent's success, even if it was of the marginal variety. That's probably a bit unfair to Floyd, since he continued to have success of his own in many of those stanzas. So, the amount of rounds that clearly went against Floyd were much fewer...And I wouldn't necessarily argue against those who scored Alvarez, Guerrero and Berto as being shut-outs.
