I have painfully watched the entire fight. George was really distracted.
I often wondered if the black Muslims threatened him maybe like Liston.
He could have used half the energy by cornering Ali then going for head shot, instead he let Ali walk him around the ring while he swung wildly-hitting nothing but air
Actually, George would have been knocked by PEE WEE HERMAN that night.
    Ali 7 Foreman 0

Have you actually seen the fight. You're just repeating what you've heard from people. If you have seen the fight, can you give which rounds you gave to Foreman.

what I remember; Foreman doing a lot of body punching and Ali impersonating an anchor clutching Foreman behind the neck while laying across the ropes until Foreman was tired. I don't feel like watching the fight again so there it is.

5-2's fair, I had it 5-2 as well last time I scored it.

Don't really care for watching this bout again, I'd rather watch the Frazier trilogy.

This fight (Although high skilled with the rope and dope) isn't something you'd want to watch more than once for entertainment value.

"Is that all you got George?"

    "Yeah... that's about it"

    I like that though :)

I gave him 2 rounds. He fought like an amatuer boxer that night.

They sure liked even rounds back then.

A few years later, you had the wonderful 3-2-8 scorecard for Duran-Leonard 1.

The big bad black muslims stole Foreman's stamina that night.

Some thing I've often wondered. Why does it seem like someone has to win each round? A lot of rounds are very even and could go either way and then that personal swing for very little reason could be what decides a fight.

Ali did what he was great at doing and that's in the last 30 seconds of each round, he came alive and looked brilliant. The judges remember the last 30 seconds more so than the opening 30 seconds. Ali was stealing the rounds.

    No.

    Round 1, Foreman closed stronger.

Round 2, Ali landed pretty much as soon as he went to the ropes. Round 3 also.

Round 4 or 5, I think 4, Ali landed a quick combo very early on that knocked Foreman off-balance (The Colonel said Foreman was staggered).

Ali landed the clean shots to the head throughout the fight.
