Is it a 10 or a 12 rounder? Hayes fight with Chisora was a 10 rounder.

If I remember correctly Haye sneaked in a 10 round clause and Chisora wasn't aware of it. Would not suprise me if this fight ends up being a 10 rounder.

It should be 12, but Haye's stamina is not that good, neither is his chin...........he was knocked out by a cruiserweight and Solis stopped him in the amateurs. This should be a good fight, esp. if it's 12 rounds...........

I was pretty amazed to see Chisora wasn't aware it was 10 rounds until the day before the fight. That is a pretty big oversight, somebody really should have got fired for that.

I haven't heard officially how long Haye/Fury is gonna be, I wouldn't be surprised if it was 10 rounds. Am surprised noone has asked that question after last time.

Neither had a world title belt or a ranking to justify being in an eliminator. That is ostensibly why it was 10.

Ordinarily I'm OK with that, but they did compete for the WBA Inter-Continental heavyweight title which had 24 years of precedence being contested over 12. Haye vs. Chisora was the first time in 32 occasions of the Inter-Continental title being on the line where it was arbitrarily scheduled for ten. That I don't like. Precedent should be followed. Some minor baubles are traditionally scheduled for ten and some for twelve. Some variegate back and forth - and that's fine. This one, though - 31 bouts, all twelve rounds. Then all of a sudden...nah. :blood

Anyway, Fury has just been through a pair of world title eliminators and Haye obviously placed himself back in the rankings coming back to stop Chisora, so I can't see this not being 12. They'll find a reason to make it so, whether calling it another eliminator or wrangling some vacant trinket for the kitty.

    5 :yep

I think 12 and I really feel these minor belt fight should be over 12 too, otherwise they're completely useless.
Now they at least have a reason to make it a 12 rounder with actual "Championship rounds".

will 100 percent be 12 rounds as it will be used as a championship elimantor and get haye up the rankings.

Poor Fury. :yep He will have fought in two prior eliminators and be set back to square one with nothing to show for it but a bruised ego and shattered jaw.
