how many rounds will cotto/pacquiao go

cotto wont come out for the 8th round. i just seen an interview with cotto and he has scar tissue where he cut from clottey. thats weaker skin and cotto cuts easily anyway. with this i see pac opening him up by about 5 rounds. problem for cotto as pac has the speed and power to exploit this whereas clottey never.

 

You do know Manny has the same kind of scar tissue from the 1st Morales fight dont you?

scar tissue gets stronger with time. i think youll find the morales fight was a few years ago now and cottos was only 5 months ago. maybe not enough time. also cottos is right above his eye which can cause major problems

 

True, its likely a clash of heads will cause it more than likely, However, Dont put all your hopes on that... its bad enough your all writting off Cotto so easily... that alone is going to shock you..

Pac is pretty quick.
He might last 6-7.
My guess is that Cotto will catch and finish him much earlier.

 

I'm not sure who's going to get tagged . . . Cotto has a good chin and Pac has fast legs . . . so I'll pick 12 . . . for a decission win by either.

I say about 9. By then either Cotto's size has worn on Pac and he should be ready to take him out; or Pac's accuracy, speed, and power has given Cotto a Margo flashback and he gets taken out. I am leaning towards Cotto taking Pac out.
