He will most likely be stopped with closed eyes and cuts, imo. :smoke

    i picked the 8 to 9 option.
only 1 so far i see

IMO the fight will go one way and then as usual kessler will up the tempo and haussler`s corner will pull haussler out and retire on his stool between rounds.

kessler will domninate from ring center while haussler turtle shell defense will be pounded upon by the kessler jab and bit by bit right hands to the temple and body and the consistent heavy handiness and punishment will make it that haussler , battered and bruised and not having won a round gets retired.

i do not even see haussler giving it a go and trying to win this fight, i think he will be content to try and go the distance, his best chance of winning a round will be rounds 1 to 2.

He hasn't given it a go against much more modest competition (e.g. old, faded Sanavia), so...

He's clearly just after the money, so why wasn't he payed off to sit this one out? Or does he want to say he went out in a world title fight against Mikkel Kessler?

    HAUSSLER HAS NO CHOICE.
I AM GUESSING BUT HAVE NOT LOOKED THAT he is ranked number 1 by the WBA and them alone thus getting his title shot.

kessler just happens to be the title holder so he has to go that route.

he has been sitting on this position for a long time as well.

his promoter won the puse bids so home advantage, which i doubt he would have got as a voluntary defense v bute and calzaghe fight when he was champ was never really an option.

he gave it a go v markusson, but every time he pressed he got dropped and then about round 5 or so went a bit into his shell.

against larson he had his ears boxed off and he simply lacks the power or variety to change his style once this happens.

kessler will stay in range and pepper haussler with the jab looking for haussler to leave openings when he throws a right.

haussler IMO will not throw to many punches and leave himself open , so kessler is going to have to winkle his way through the guard bit by bit.

sannavia style /and lack of height meant for 2 decent fights.

kessler`s style is all wrong for haussler from everyway you look at it.

i should have added the way to open up haussler will be to step of to his left and fire straight rights down the pipe and throw uppercuts all the time.

last week v arslan showed the blueprint of how to open and get through the crab defense.

Yeah, the WBA were taking the **** when Mundine had the belt too. Haussler must be one of the worst mandatory challengers this year, across all divisions and all belts (main four).:-(

Hausler is a bit chinny but he is good enough defensively to at least last a while in there as its clear by now that Kessler isnt really a big puncher.

Kessler shouldnt **** around in there, he should try his hardest to end this as early as he can, this is a bull**** fight for a guy of his calibre.

You must be thinking of the wrong Haussler. Haussler is not chinny at all; on the contrary, he has a very good chin - it's his best feature. He also keeps a closed guard. Other than that, he is a punching bag.

This fight has massacre written all over it. Häussler wont last the distance, cause he is easy to hit and too limited to survive 12 rounds vs Kessler. The difference in class is so big, it wont matter if his chin is good, very good or granite. I cant see him standing longer than 5,6 rounds. I wouldnt be surprised if its over after 2,3 rounds. It will be a good sparring for Kessler.

He has been dropped like 6 or 7 times in a career with few great names on it.

Every time I have seen him he looks vulnerable. He is a bit chinny, I wouldnt say he is weak chinned because he always manages to see the fight out but defo not a strong point of his, not to many things are really.

If he's been dropped, it's because he doesn't move at all, just keeps a tight guard and takes it, for round after round, not because he's a bit chinny. The only reason he's made it as far as he did was because he had a very good chin.

I thought he was given way to much time to recover from one of the KD's in the Markussen fight.
Ive seen him rocked to many times to rate his chin better then average.

Maybe Im being harsh, he isnt very mobile from memory thats probably more of the problem than anything.

Either way he is getting smoked by Kessler.
