Several people picking Gomez who were wrong and obviously have no clue about boxing. Gomez is rubbish at Heavy, carrys no power, punches are more like slaps than proper punches and he just plodded straight forward into VK's punches.

Haye pisses all over Gomez and is going to give VK fits and we'll see how he deals with it :deal

Vitali has terrible foot movement so Haye needs to keep turning him and stay away from the right hand. The first big punch Vitali lands Haye is gonna be in trouble but I still think he has a chance. I would be more confident against Wlad but I think David might pull it offf. Although he will have to get off the floor to do it.

If Vitali wins it will be 5th
    If Haye wins the 9th

Interesting. Most people see it exactly the opposite. IF Haye is to have a chance, it is earlier while he is fresher. Vitali isn't going to gas. Before I saw his last fight I read people talking about how tired he looked. When I saw it I was surprised because I thought they were mistaking relaxed for exhausted.

Vitali is so god damn slow. You guys are being blinded by Vitali's work in the division. In truth, he hasn't fought a really good fighter since Lennox Lewis in 2003 (a fight he should've won)

Vitali is over the hill now and depends completely on his jab. A smart fighter with speed and enough power to do some damage can devise a game plan that would send this Ukranian monster back to Eastern Europe without his belt.

    Haye by TKO 9th round

    This is spot on.

Why do you people base your opinions of fights on what you've seen on Youtube? You can't see anything on such a small screen with low video quality and as result you're take on the fight is influenced by the commentators.
In the Barrett fight at NO point was Haye in trouble. I know you want to believe that Monte floored Haye and the ref gave him time to recover but that isn't what happened at all. Haye slipped and was hit as he sat on his arse. He then got up and took Monte out immediately. That not really the actions of a hurt fighter is it? The short left hook that finished Monte was flush and suite rightly Richie Davis stopped it.
Haye will stop Vitali rounds 5-6 after Vitali has taken too many Hayemakers with his eyes closing and cuts to the face. It will be a brutal one sided affair with Vitali announcing his retirement afterwards.
This is the brother that Haye wanted first and the claims that Haye is in it for the $$$$ are way off the mark. Way off.
ESB will be a fun place to be after this fight.

Haye was a good CW and is no where near an elite HW

exactly. or was hatton an elite welter? pavlik an elite light heavy? oscar an elite middle? just cause he moves up in weight doesn't mean **** until he proves his stuff there against someone more than barrett (who could've one that fight if he wasn't so stupid...haye dominated but it was so pathetically sloppy i lost respect for him)

If Haye win against Vitali (i doubt it) he will be stopped by Wladimir. Wladimir is the much better boxer and he will stop Haye unless 6 rounds.

I honestly can't make my mind up on this one, I haven't seen enough of Haye at heavy to construct an informed opinion. I do however believe that either way the fight ends in 7 rounds or less. I certainly feel that Vitali is hittable and Haye has the power to do the job. Gotta keep an open mind on this one.

True about the elite HW status. Only the Klits are elite HW's at this stage. Everyone else is just providing opposition.
Haye was most definately an elite CW but seeing as that division is hardly talked about, it seems a strange thing to refer to a CW as being elite.

You guys should give Haye a break. If you dont like his trash talk and can't see it for what it is then fine, but at least cut him some slack as the guy is very obviously talented.

Forget that open mind bollocks, can't sit on the fence. I'd forgotten what Haye looked like. Watched Haye vs Barrett again (I know Barrett isn't of Vitalis quality) and I'm pretty sure Haye can win this. I'm going with Haye to KO Vitali by end of round 7 on devastating power and hand speed.

BTW has this fight definitely been made yet? It's listed on Boxrec as going ahead subject to commission approval! Woo-hoo!
