I've said seven because it will be a close fight & Calzaghe will win the quieter rounds on workrate. Overall Hopkins will land more & edge the fight.

Or by making Joe pay for the shots he misses using all the ring smarts he has learnt over the years. There is always that option.

I really do think some of you massively overestimate what Calzaghe will do in this fight. No-one has ever dominated Hopkins like that before. It will be a close UD either way & I'm going with Hopkins.

No one has dominated Hopkins in the same way as no one has dominated Calzaghe. Both have solid beards and don't get hit all that often so I think its crazy for anyone to think its going to be one sided. Calzaghe wins a close UD.

Even though Calzaghe will exploit Hopkins to a large degree, Hopkins takes at least three to four rounds. Hopkins points score relies on Judges scoring a American fighter in Las Vegas with a U.S. national refereeing, so the scores may be another thing.

Calzaghe, for all his ring smarts, is prone to hot headedness. Against Bika he wanted, following on from the Lacy fight, to make a serious impression, and tried too hard. This is his American debut, a bit of a grudge match and his first fight at light heavy. He'll be buzzing so much come fight night that he's going to make mistakes.

Also, Hopkins isn't a walkover. He's old sure, but his defence is tight and he's going to fight smart and safe against Calzaghe, who will leave himself open to straight punches, like he often does. Hopkins will score with some straight right hands. Calzaghe will land more but Hopkins will get some meaty ones in there. Up close Bhop will tie Joe up and wont be afraid to drop some fouls in there. Joe is likely to get frustrated and lose his cool.

Plus, Joe is moving up in weight and we don't know how its going to affect him. I except the possibilty that he could improve, like hopkins himself did, but he may have lost an edge of speed.

A lot of the rounds will be close and hard to score - depending on whether you prefer Calzaghe's volume or Hopkin's precision, hard punches

    Dont be ridiculous.:D
Taylor is a good accurate puncher but hardly explosive!

Anyway. Hopkins will win 3-4 rounds.
