How many rounds will Kotelnik realistically have to win to get a decision?

Kotelnik has already expressed his concern about the judges and we all know that Khan is the only draw Warren has left. So how many rounds do you think he will have to win to get a decision if it goes to the cards? 9 for me.

Depends on how close/clear the rounds are. I guess anything close will get given to Khan.

He just needs to find Khan's chin, shouldn't be a problem when Khan slows down a bit

Not sure i think the UK is a lot easier to get a result in these days. Witter v Bradley was close and it went to Bradley

He'll lose the early rounds to Khan's activity. After 4 rounds, he'll start timing Amir and slowing him down.

I can see Kotelnik taking a close round or two in the first half against Khan's volume and flurries, but at the half way point Khan will be 4-2 up. Kotelnik will then win the next four on the trot with accurate countering and maybe hurt Amir.

If he doesn't put him away or at least down, I wouldn't be surprised if Amir manages to coast the last two and nick a decision.

Kotelnik, IMO, needs to knock Amir down at least once and dominate the second half of the fight to get the win. Amir will be given the benefit of the doubt where possible.

After what I saw happen with Mezzache/Thaxton I have every faith in the judges. Then again we are dealing with Mr Warren... Lol

Exactly it's the Warren factor. The fact that judges are from overseas doesn't matter, Warren's influence spreads all over.

Yeah it's the Warren thing that concerns me, the examples of fair judging that people have brought up were on Hennessey cards.

I am guessing he would need to win 7 rounds. Knockdowns could play a big part in this fight.

frank warren blows goats as far as i'm concern if kahn gets a gift decision in the perception of most fans, it will add just another black mark to amir kahn.

    I think he'd need to win 8.

If he wins 7-5 it's a bit iffy.

i also think he wil need 8.
khan needs to start fast,as we know he can-but finishing fast would be the perfect way to box kotelnik.that is presuming it go's the distance which i think it will.

He is a complete twat (allegedly) but Warren isn't some sort of all powerful Bond villain

Kotelnik is a really good finisher of fights, so yes Khan needs to bag those early rounds without a doubt.
