One. He will have one last flourish of magic a la Tarver III Round Five/Hanshaw Round Eleven, and then will be too tired to manage it again, as Calzaghe will set too fast a pace.
You are aware that Roy Jones Jr is the most gifted fighter to ever lace up a pair of boxing gloves right? So if he's as prepared mentally and physically like he says he is, how is this just out of the realm of possibility? Again how will you feel if Roy puts on a prime clinic and makes Joe look average by comparison?
I don't see how one can pick RJJ to win 7-9 rounds if it goes the distance. Based on what? Do you realize the level of activity for both fighters in recent years? Joe's going to be moving in and out of spots and just winning based on activity. How will RJJ win 7-9 rounds? The only way RJJ wins this fight is via KO IMO. There is almost no chance he wins a decision.
Markus, why are you avoiding my question? It's certainly not out of the realm of possibility. So again how would you feel?
Ya all musta forgot. Roy will make a fight out of it. Calzaghe will ultimately win, but only because Roy is about 40% of what he was at his best.
And Joe has only schooled 1 decent fighter his entire career...(Kessler), he sure didn't school Hopkins !!
You talk as if this is prime RJJ. It's not. RJJ is no a primarily stationary fighter. You will know where he is. Prime RJJ was a rabbit.
