I feel Wilder would have knocked Carnera out in a round but what do fans think?

I don't think he would do that in the first round because Wilder is not agressive starter. He would likely beat Carnera but Primo could outbox him for a few rounds.

Three or four perhaps, if "chicken legs," was feeling lazy.

Why the assumption that Wilder wins?

If he went in all guns blazing he could do it in a round. More likely he stops him in the middle rounds. Carnera could have his moments though

Considering Wilder's massive inconstancy with KO rates at the "top" level

    Any one of the 12

Carnera had a jab equivalent at least to Gerald Washington's and we all saw what GW was able to do to Wilder. Sadly Primo didn't have a punch equivalent to his stature, or, frankly I'd pick him to win this.

I think his chin is too weak and Wilder's power too strong for him to have much hope of winning.

No, Fury would have landed far more shots on Carnera than he did on Wilder who wa always threatening with the counter, Carnera was not a good counter puncher, it`s hard to hit Wilder and get out of range after punching because of hies reach that`s why he landed some good counter jabs against Fury, this punch would catch Carnera whenever he threw it, Carnera couldn`t slip punches.

Wilder has only gone the distance twice and one time against Fury who is far harder to hit than Carnera was, and Wilder had Fury out cold in the last round, no way could Carnera have got up from those shots, it was epic, Fury is on another planet compared to Carnera.

This reply has nothing to do with my post. Why do you quote me when you talk about something completely different?

    1. Fury getting up proves he wasn't out cold
    2. Wilder went the distance with Stiverne, took Stiverne out in 1, took Ortiz out in 10, Arreola in 8, Spilka in 9, Molina in 9, Breazeale in 1, Washington in 5, Duhaupas in 11.

Inconsistent. So who knows what Round Carnera would be taken out in
