It would be a good fight. Frankly Jackson would have his hands full, since he didn't have the world's hardest chin himself. I think he'd have to end it early (and he might) or he'd have more than just a small problem late.

Jackson would get stopped in about three unless he could land a sucker punch he's in big trouble GGG is a better boxer they both hit very hard.

Golovkin probably stops Jackson before then.

golovkin is the most overrated puncher in the last 20 years, OVERRATED HITTING POWER. he has to hit once and again and again to stoP NOBODIES. and you have people matching him with hagler, monzón etc lmao

Love Julian Jackson, but his best win is over Terry Norris, and Norris was known for superb hand speed, boxing ability, and a below average chin. Jackson usually lost against the absolute elite, and there is no reason at all to suspect he could beat a well rounded, granite chinned guy like Golovkin.

I actually agree with you. Golovkin very rarely throws all out power punches. He relies on timing and punch placement for his power. He doesn't get out of balance, making him hard to counter. A very complete fighter. :yep

Jackson wasn't a great champ ,just a great puncher, his whiskers weren't in the same class as his power. GGG ?The jury is still out ,or at least it is for me.
If I'm to play the Henry Fonda role in,
"12 Angry Men" so be it, but Golovkin's chin hasn't been tested as a pro yet ,and his power ,though very ,very good hasn't been pitted against the quality of opponent it needs to be before we class him as another JJ.imo

I'm a big fan of his footwork, the way he gets into range, he has an excellent variety of punches ,and a fine jab too. He just needs a couple of signature wins ,but where he will get them I don't know? Canelo has quacked off ,Ward?

I have GGG to stop Jackson in the middle rounds.Golvkin is not a "reck[ess" puncher who goes all out with every punch. Rather he is a methodical puncher who can break you down in the body or as shown with Lemieux with a devastating
painful left jab that weakens a fighter, then GGG opens up with powerful finishing punches. Yes, he never beat any top fighters of yesteryear, BUT that doesn't FAULT him, or imply that he COULDN'T . A man can only beat who his opposition is...Julian Jackson was a devastating puncher no doubt , but he resembled a smaller version of the LH Bob Satterfield who also hit like the devil, but did not have the best set of whiskers, while GGG in about 340 or so Amateur and pro bouts, was NEVER DROPPED and I who love the fighters of the 1940s and 1950s because they were great, firmly believe that in GGG we have a great fighter who would do very nicely in any generation. Yessir...
The baby faced Assassin is Golvkin...

I agree with this. Also GGG is a much better boxer, and would more likely land 1st, also I'd say he has a much better chin.

I don't think there's any questioning GGG's power. The worst you could say is it's graded at an A, not A+ or its at an A+ not an A++, know what I mean? He's dropping fighters, sometimes stopping them with shots that are by no means full power punches.
