And you really think he'd have gotten close enough to target Roy's body?

I think he means that GGG seems easy enough to hit.

I doubt Roy would have had any issues finding the target.

Just like he did against the likes of Martin Murray, right?

Golovkin lost more than 5 amateur fights as well.

Yeah, Roy really went all out for the knock outs didn't he?

Have you even watched those fights?

Toney and Hopkins were great boxers. They were tactical fights. Also, Roy had a fractured hand against Hopkins.

Kovalev is one of the hardest punchers in the sport and didn't knock the near 50 year old Hopkins out despite landing several power shots.. So Roy with a broken hand couldn't stop the 28 year old version.. That is not saying a whole lot..

Toney also had an ATG chin and defense.

Roy also knocked out Malinga and Tate, two fighters that went the distance with savage punching Jackson and Benn.

Never rule out a Roy KO.. Plus, don't forget his vicious body shots that can end a fight at any given moment.

The Virgil Hill KO was a thing of beauty. Roy's body punching doesn't get nearly the amount of attention it deserves. Jones is definitely one of the best body punchers of the last 30 years, IMO...

What I can't understand is why does the Bumlovkin crowd keep bringing up his amateur record. Amateur boxing, when compared to professional prize fighting, in reality is like a whole different sport. In all honestly, Bumlovkin's amateur record is essentially meaningless in the pro ranks. Maybe the Bumlovkin crowd feels that's the only crutch they can lean on seeing as the Triple Duck has done nothing as a pro other than knock over a string of TOMATO CANs...

you know what's sad, a new fan like you probably thinks GGG stood a chance against Jones Jr LOL, Jones would have destroyed GGG.

People that hate Roy always try to nullify his power. Roy was a damn bomber. He consistently beat guys down that had never been beaten down before him or after him.
