Did you see the paper the other day - guy in Iceland caught the biggest Plaice ever ?

Sold it to the market for £2500.

    It weighed about 28 stone.

Lennox was a beast. All that size combined with all that skill. It's unsual for a man that big to have very few flaws.

You've got to fancy him to beat both Klitschko brothers relatively comfortably at his very best. As Ishy says, strangely the bigger/taller the opponent, the more he imposed his skillset/physicality with a more aggressive mindset. A stoppage win over Wlad would be very likely.

Artic char is the best fish you can buy. Bag yourself the reddest possible one in the shop...lovely. Similar to trout but nicer. Easy to cook and versatile.

Wlad - Lewis would be the battle of the two tentative and "over-thinking" fighters. Believe it or not Lewis was looked down upon in the 90s for lacking aggression and falling asleep during fights.

Lennox Lewis deserved the win against Klitschko and he didnt win just on luck. And whether you think he deserved the win its pbvious he gave a prime Vitali Klitschko the toughest fight of his career and he was edging his way back into the fight at the time of the stoppage anyways. A prime Lennox was a better fighter than Klitschko and would beat him convincingly imo. Theres nothing Lewis does that Vitali can do better, aside from take a better punch. and Lewis's chin was underrated also

Vitali having a better chin is debatable too.

A fat Sanders decked him and had him in all sorts of trouble, he was badly hurt by Lewis also.

There aren't many punchers on that slate of his.

Lewis would have beaten Wlad easily. For the simple reason, Wlad could not fight like he does now. Not untroubled anyway. Even if he outboxed Lewis, like Bruno did at times, Lewis can hit him with punches without having to get inside and that is a key difference between Lewis and everybody else Wlad is fighting.

I think you can only analyse at the end of each man carrer. What we saw from Lewis was consisten peformances throughout his carrer...somtimes he chose to box, somtimes he chose to come out and knock you out. Lewis we know from facts is that if you were just as big or bigger he would come for you....so Wlad and Vitali he would have gone for no matter what.

Lewis showed he could be knocked by men around 6'2 and 230-240lbs guys who were known to be big punchers but also guys that could easily be outboxed. This is where Lewis mentally was weak, if he was boxing a guy silly or didnt take him seriously he would lose...i always thought if Lewis fought in the 70s he would have beaten the Ali version, Foreman and Frazier but would lose to Shavers.

I think the grand scheme of things, head to head and accomplishments Lewis is above both klits.

Vitali is nearing the end and is slowing down...he deffo is an all time great...top 20 material.

Wlad has improved and is in the best form of his carrer.....Chagaev, Chambers and recent Peter win were his best showings so far...if he can add Solis, Povetkin, Adamek and Haye then he will have an outstanding resume.

Bruno was a strange fighter because of his personality. Everyone tends to underestimate the guy because of his joking persona, his body-builder look and the way he fought as a stiff.......his obvious weakness, stiff, robotic and unable to react when hurt also showed his qualities. Incredibly strong, a jab that you couldn't block or parry and had to avoid....and consistency with that.

The only fights Bruno did badly in were against Tyson...he gave Lewis, Witherpsoon and Smith all tough fights.

Lennox Lewis did not play chess matches with fellow superheavyweights.

He reverted back to his natural instincts, and that was to make it a rough, physical, all gunz blazing fight.

Wladimir can box, but he can't really fight a rough house tatic fight.

Lennox Lewis would end him in 3 rounds.

Vitali would do better, but Lennox Lewis would TKO himin 8 rounds.

How was Vitali prime? :nut He took the fight without any training camp or sparring and still whipped Lewis for most of the fight.

I love how people play down the fact Lewis won because it was on cuts. This is boxing, the aim is to inflict damage to an opponent to win the fight. It's a perfectly valid method of victory from a punch, particularly as bad as the injuries inflicted on Vitali. If the fight had gone on he could of been seriously hurt.

IRCC Vitali was in training for another fight around that time when he got the nod for Lewis. He'd had training and sparring.
