I wouldn't be so certain that he wouldn't, unless the reason he wouldn't was that he would be making much more money by not doing so. £1m for three fights in the Super Six? Jeez! That's peanuts compared to what he would be making with Warren right now, whether in or out of the Super Six.
Where has that number come from? I thought the overall prize money for the tournament was $50m (about £30m) and Froch is only getting 1/30th of the money for his 3 guaranteed fights?
I told you this super 6 was aload of ****, and badly advertised. I don't even know how its structured..
The Super 6 itself isn't the problem, its just Hennesey ****ing it up in the UK. It did OK in Germany and America and it'll do OK in Denmark.....
i thought froch was getting like just under a mill for each fight..not 1 mill for 3 fights? no way man, if so, Froch is a dumb snake!!!
To be fair, thats because you are a ******. If you know the event is on and you can't be bothered to go and look that up its nobody elses fault.
I can't see the article on the Scene's list - so I doubt those figures. A quick Google search yielded nothing either. I doubt the figure would even be released if it was so bad, because they're independent and probably have no responsibility to release the figures.
i was one of them \0/ honestly the froch fight was crap but the abs fight made it worth the cash i had to fork out for it
If that number is correct then I don't think we will get many more on Primetime. Shame because it was a well put together show.
Was just wondering did anybody who didn't buy the fight tune into Sky ch480 anyway at the start of the programme and was it encrypted at this time? Just asking as I only tuned in later, having not bought it, and the Froch fight was being shown unencrypted free of charge anyway. Was wondering if this was the case for the whole evening from the start of the broadcast or whether they suffered a glitch along the way with their encryption.
