How many still consider Kovalev the best at 175?

I wonder if those watching in the US thought that Kovalev won easy or something as I was watching on British tv and whilst Paulie was clearly biased for Ward I had it mega close and when they kept going over to show us the US commentators scorecards

kovalev won the fight but he was a bit below par on the night, he did a poor job cutting the ring off, he was following ward around instead of cutting the ring off a lot of the time. he also stopped throwing the jab in the second half of the fight for some reason which made it easier for ward to run. i do think ward exposed the fact that kovalev weakens in the second half of the fight.

kovalev won the fight so obviously he is still the man, but i was disappointed by his performance so he has gone down a bit in my estimation, if kovalev learns from his mistakes and corrects his errors he KO's ward in the rematch. i have a feeling the rematch won't happen tho, ward knows what happened in there, he could of been KO'd early on, he was hanging on for dear life in the early rounds and was gifted a decision.

ward doesn't want to go life and death with kovalev again, he'll weasel out of the rematch somehow. stevenson - ward would be interesting, ward can outbox him but stevenson's left hook can one punch KO him at any time, i think stevenson's skill is underrated aswell, he showed that he can box against bellew...

If you think Kovalev beat Ward you are still saying he beat a blown up middleweight who can't punch in a boring fight where neither one did much. Ward was always overrated to me and I think Adonis Stevenson would of knocked out Ward. Kovalev is another of those European fighters who get so much love from Europeans because he is Europe. No different from GGG, Tyson Fury, Wladmir Klitschko or others. Neither that good but their fans will build them up because of what country they are from or their skin tone instead of them being judge on what they do in the ring and who they fight against.

I watched the sky feed and had it 7-4-1. I have no interest in what the commentators score cards are or what the crowd thinks. Anyone that can't be objective scoring a boxing match shouldn't be scoring. If a round is close I ask myself, 'which fighter would I rather be?' I feel Kov won, the judges didn't. Despite my experience watching boxing, I had no trepidation waiting for the cards. I was actually surprised and I know I shouldn't be. It is what it is. The fact that Ward is barely being considered for foty speaks volumes.
