i got a terrible concussion snowboarding. the symptoms i had were extreme sensitivity to light for the first 2 days, the worst headache ive ever had, nausea(never did throw up though), my balance was ****, i couldnt string thoughts together. I couldnt type right for a few days, slurred everything, stuttered a little, my ability to think on the fly went down and my grades suffered for a few weeks. the slurred speech and stuttering lasted almost a month, the rest went away after the first week maybe with the headache lasting maybe 2 days. it was hell. the slurred speech though was like i couldnt coordinate my mouth with my brain and the thoughts and speech were just off and it ****ed things up. That was snowboarding though, ive been knocked down and beat around boxing before and never felt any of that other than a headache but i figure thats a given. Knockdowns for me are inspiration to shape up for the rest of the night and i tend to do better after one.
