2x a week during Easter/Summer Holidays 5x a week all in the boxing gym some days I would do weights in morning and then boxing in the evening (during school holidays)
6 days a week for me as well. It seems to be the standard around here. Depending on my schedule I'll train twice a day. I usually start every morning with roadwork and then work on technique, conditioning, or strength in the afternoon.
Working 7 days is couter productive You need to rest. I train in a boxing gym 3 times perweek but do other training that would involve weights, running or bag work on other days. Too many folk just think they should "work hard" you should work smart- not hard. If you are training 7 days a week then your body will never get a chance to recover, you will therefore not be training anywhere near as hard as you can to force adaptions to your body. In actual fact most combat atheletes should be training easier if they want to get better. Alternating between hard and easier days would be much better.
well i train 8 times a week but i still take sunday off, and since i train early morning ill have alot of time to eat and regain all my energy back
i used to train 4 times a week and 2 days for road work. sunday mornings was all sparring.ive just started coaching and would reckon at least 4 a week
3-4 days. I work alot it is impossible to stick to. So i work out at home and our set up at work but still pretty casual.
3-4 times a week hard when working, when I do train I train hard so do need my rest days to recover but I am an old git.
