actually my workouts vary. I typically do the jumping rope in the morning, excpet on sundays when I mix it in with conditioning. I didn't go to the gym in february, but now I plan on going every now and then, so on those days my workout will be focused on boxing technique and conditioning. but the workout I most consistently do involves running, lifting and hitting the bag.

I just decided to focus more, about a month ago, and realized it was physically possible as long as you are disciplined.

Four to six times lately. I'm going to be working out 7 days a week again from now on. Sparring and pads at least three times a week, two condition drills. The remaining two days will be various sports. Roadwork, swimming, canoing, whatever I feel like. Apart from that I bike a lot, 10 to 20 miles a day if the weather allows it.

Gonna be 31 in 10 days so I've had to slow down a bit.

Used to go 5~6 days a week with 3 weight lifting sessions and at least 2 cardio sessions; for an average total of 14 hours a week, but my body can't really handle that anymore.

My current program is muay thai 3 times a week, weights twice a week, and some sort of light cardio/activity one other day (usually lap swimming).

Doesn't always work out like that though.

Last week I did 30 min bag work on Monday, 2.5~3 hours of muay thai each Wed, Thur, Fri, lifted weights for almost an hour each Wed & Friday, and took a picnic at the river on Sunday with my gf and her friends w/walking & some light swimming most of the day. Total gym time was around 10 hours before the outdoors on Sunday.

Unfortunately I really do need that day off between workouts, so I'm pretty banged up this week - may have to take some time off. My shoulder feels like a pulled muscle (possibly more serious) and a muscle in my leg has a pretty serious contusion.

Getting older stinks because you get injured so easily on some stupid mess, and it doesn't heal up right away.

    I'm 32 but I don't intend on taking it slower :D

Since I lost some bulk I'm not as injury prone anymore. My knees stopped complaining, my wrists haven't been bad in a while. I seem to be holding up.

i did 2/3 days of boxing and lifted for power at the fire dept after my shifts were over. but right now i cant afford the boxing cuz of school so im saving up for home stuff to make up for that. The power lifting is helping tons tho with my strength which is good for the job.

I guess just to share heres basically what im up to now considering my schedule its alittle different then in the past. Alot of my cardio comes from the 5 mile bike ride to my MMA gym and of course 5 miles back.

    Sunday - Rest
Monday - Try and get into the gym early enough so I can hit the heavy bags basically at first focusing on my kicks then my punches then a round or 2 of blending it in 2gether. Also **** with the double end bag and try the GNP bag. Then its a hour of BJJ practice.

Tuesday - Basically a repeat of Mondays routine.
    Wednesday - Agian a repeat.
Thursday - Sadly cant ever get much done this day I try to get in atleast a 3 mile run.
Friday - Im only able to get into a fitness gym there I do a full body workout with weights after 45 minutes of cardio.
Saturday - This is my best day for striking. I take my truck there on Saturdays so I need to warm up I do skipping, then warm up some more with the bags then spar a few rounds with a Kick Boxer from Spain. Then after that 45-60 minute workout I have a 2 hour Muay Thai class which is brutal in this heat but them 2 hours isnt alot of pousturing or anything its non stop work no breaks we work on clinches, escapes, hit the pads to focus on combos, get in some sparring occasionally.

Once things slow down in life ill be able to get in a more active routine.

5 times 1 hour a week as I also have a day job (and bills to pay). I'm 32 yrs old.

I usually chop the daily hour into two sections.

Midday - half an hour personal training session on the pads with mixed up small circuit or sparring (4 times 3 minute rounds)

Evening - half an hour run with sprints

    ----------------------------------------------------------

p.s. find it amazing the people that train so hard as the above knackers me out....
