How many times can this happen to JMM?

If a guy closely wins a fight, the judges will give it to the other guy.

It is the first golden rule of judging.

Maybe true, maybe not, but Manny weighed almost as much as Floyd and Hatton at Welter. He's got to move up.

Close fight, I had JMM winning by at least 2 rounds but as predicted the judges would give it to PAC.

Congrats to Pac, but the better man did not get his hand raised tonight.

It wasn't clear win for anyone... I had Marquez winning 114-113, but there were two rounds that could have gone either way that i gave to Marquez. The knock down was the culprit.... Remember, Pac was pressing the action, or coming forward most of the time. Many times that influences the judges. In terms of JMM's performance, it was a good one. It was the same as it has been last 3 fights or so. He is very consistent in how he fights and performs. The problem seems to be when Marquez gets too confident, like in the Barrera fight, he gets hit when throwing a punch and goes down.

I didn't get to see the fight tonight so I can't comment on the decision. It sounds like a bad break for Marquez but if he put on a good enough showing, then the people will still support him. This could still set up Pacman/JMM 3 further down the road.

Pac said that he didn't want another fight with Marquez. Of course JMM said that he wants to fight Pac, but that "he knows that I am the stronger fighter, so he won't give a rematch".

Lots of punches from JMM were blocked. It was not a clear win for JMM. I scored it for JMM but by no means was it a clear win in my book. I had it 114 - 113 JMM but as others have said, i gave rnds that i saw as close to JMM. the Knocdown was the ultimate deciding factor. just like the first fight. JMM would have won but he got knocked down.

If he wants to stop this from happening dont get knock down.

Oh I saw the fight. thats why I'm asking you what rnds were the clear ones cause I only saw a few of those rnds for JMM. Hell i even scored teh fight for him but I admit i was bias on a few of thse rnds.

Pac wiining this was by no means a robbery. this wasn't even close to a robbery.

And THAT is the best comment I've seen.

Everyone take notice of what this man just said, because it's spot on. It WAS a close fight, but this is one of those times where it could NOT go either way. Marquez clearly won enough rounds to win.

The judges have to do as they are told. The fix was in.
