he was knocked down by that french guy drilzane...but it was clear he got his feet tangled in the ropes when drilzane attacked him

his first true proffesional knockdown was limmond

craig watson a welterwieght powderpuff knocked him down very heavily in the amatuers...(edit) found it

Khan was hurt badly in that clip. His chin is even worse than I thought!!

Here we are two days after the fight and I still can't believe how bad of a Glass Jaw Khan has. I thought Herbie Hide had a Glass Jaw but he looks like George Chuvalo next to Khan. Khan might have the worst chin I have ever seen on a rated fighter.

Watson has FOUR stoppages from 13 pro fights in the paid ranks. Yet he almost disposed of Amir with headgear and all!

Stefy Bull was brutally outclassed by Khan.

Drilzane, Limond (very heavy), Gomez & Prescott x 2

The Gomez one was from little more than a cuffing left hook around his guard, how it knocked him down I still don't know!

The Drilzane one wasn't an actual knockdown, but Willie Limond opened our eyes to Khan's punch resistance.

He does fight at Welterweight though, and that shot landed on the temple area which will take your equilibrium away :good

I think even earlier, the name escapes me but that guy that whalloped Khan in the amateurs between the Olympics and his final bought with Kindelan...can't remember his name at the moment, but Khan wobbled and the radio commentators 'lost their **** big style', as I believe the venacular goes.

Craig Watson dropped him as an am. That may be who you are thinking of, not 100% though.

You're right! Thank you, I'd actually forgotten he went down too, but the Five Live radio guys went totally bananas, as if Jesus himself had just walked into the arena and ordered a hot dog.

    Wow, the wonders of Youtube...here:

Ya I was aware of the Craig Watson knockdown, but it seemed such a weird shot that I wasn't fully ready to right off Khan's chin till I saw him hurt in the amateurs. Then with the extremely careful matchmaking from Warren I become sceptical and reckoned there could be a chin problem there. That was still early enough in, it took until Willie Limond till I was confirmed right about my suspcions.
