You clearly didnt read my post. I never said Cotto was afraid. Please show me where i said that?

However I did say cotto knows that he would lose if he asked for the fight. Hence why in my opinion he hasn't.

I also never said Cotto is ducking Mayweather? Please show me where I did?

Mayweather really has no interest in fighting Cotto but the Cotto fans like to claim Mayweather is ducking him, Mayweather says how can i duck a fighter who wont even call me out.

Mayweather has no problems fighting Cotto, but Cotto hasn't done a single thing to make the fight happen. This is strange considering it is his fans who claim Mayweather has been ducking Cotto for years:huh

Also Mayweather isn't calling out Cotto. Once again tell me when did i say this?

I said Mayweather has told cotto to call him out if he really wants a fight. This is in response to the cotto fans who claim that Mayweather is ducking their boy.

    :deal

Is that a pic of cotto and mayweather in your av. :rofl

This exactly what im talking about the fans cant fight for him. Cotto needs to finish a fight with Pac and call out Mayweather right after.

Mayweather will never call out Pac, once you do that u have loss the advantage of the purse split.

Ok you didn't actually say he was afraid or ducking him. But your saying he's not looking for the fight because he believes he would lose. That's not right.

Maybe you have a better insight into boxers' psyche than me, but i can't see why a boxer would prefer a fight against a guy much bigger guy (Margarito) for less money over a career defining fight with Floyd. Doesn't make sense to me.

So maybe Cotto hasn't been vocally been shouting Mayweather's name, but that isn't really his style is it.

If you want to defend Mayweather against people who say he is ducking Cotto, fair enough, but saying Cotto doesn't want it because he thinks he will lose is plain wrong.

Mayweather will never call out pac because hes afraid of pac..pac is higher when it comes to ranking as an atg so it should be mayweather that should be calling pac..thats why mayweather is afraid because even though the one on top is the one calling him, he still refused to fight.

Mosley called him out, so did Margarito. Cotto always says that he lets his managers and promoters handle all the fights. The originating post sounds just like excuses.

Stupid thread but its not a surprise considering the idiot that started it.

When has Cotto ever called out anyone?

He fights whoever they put in front of him it doesnt matter who it is.

Anyone who thinks that Cotto after fighting guys like Margo and Mosley is ducking fraud doesnt know **** about boxing.

I agree floyd dont need to call fighters out he can just pick who is best for his legacy and pockets. Pacman is in the same boat.

But I think Floyd Cotto is a fight that everybody would want to see reguardless. It would have happened but margarito happened

I never said he was scared of Mayweather.:huh

I said it's a fight he knows he would lose, which is why he hasn't done anything to get a match with Mayweather.

Leonard Ellerbe said to the New York Post: “I think Cotto is a good fighter who’s definitely improving. His promotional company has done a good job in getting the right type of fights to increase his visibility. But he’s still not there yet. The numbers don’t lie. If nobody’s watching him as evidenced by the ratings, what makes him important? I’m not saying he’s a bad fighter. He’s a good fighter. But he’s obviously not on Floyd’s level because nobody’s watching.”
“It took Floyd nine years to get on pay-per-view,” Ellerbe said. “When Floyd steps into the ring, it’s going to be about legacy and economics. He’s in control of what’s going on and if those two things aren’t happening, Floyd’s not going to be part of that.”
