We tend to overate peoples punching power nowadays. Yes this is boxing and anything can happen. Hell Paulie Malignaggi stunned himself by stunning Juan Diaz unexpectedly.

Nevertheless, While Zab could stop Khan and Khan could stop Judah, at the top level how many opponents have they really stopped. Whether we like it or not all punches to the face and body hurt. Some fighters hide it others smile or laugh it off.

I don't see Judah having a high probability of stopping khan I just don't see anything in Judah's history against top opponents that suggest he will.

It reminds me of people saying Pac has a very good chance of Stopping PBF. Yet he has not stopped anyone at 147 or above(Except for Cotto who was "saved" while Pac was getting frustrated trying to corner him).

And now in he is supposed to stop the greatest defensive fighter of this era at that weight. :verysad

People lets put our emotions aside when discussing boxing.

I agree. It can happen but to expect it is, like you said, less than probable.

I Honestly see khan overwhelming judah with a flurry against the ropes but not the type of KO thats going to leave Judah like ****ing ricky hatton.

We both agree that this is boxing and anything can happen. Sometimes I think these Judah fans are experiencing wishful thinking.

I think he would have stopped cotto had he not resorted to low blows, and khans nowhere near as durable as cotto,he shook tszyu if I remember right too.if amir can get caught flush by maidana, one of the slowest, most crude fighters at the weight I'm confident zab can put something flush on him.I'll still pick khan by ud after being hurt

would love judah to shock us all but the reality is he will lose his focus after a good few early rounds and kahn will box at distance en route to a late stoppage similar to the malignaggi fight......i reckon anyway

This sounds like a reasonable position to be.

He dropped Floyd. Cotto was out on his feet until the low blows. Clottey was hurt by him. Matthysee wobbled etc. etc. etc.

    Floyd-I agree
    Cotto - I agree
Clottey - Sorry i saw the fight and did not see Clottey getting hurt at all:huh
    Matthysee - I agree

Like I said this is boxing and punches from a professional boxer will hurt.

Note of those examples though indicate a consistent ability to stop keyword "stop" top level opponents.

    Very good post!
Im guilty of this myself . Before the Haye v Wlad fight its amazing hows sure I was that Wlad would stop Haye. But looking at the predictions it should have always been Haye early or Wlad on Points. Wlad was never going to commit wildly in those last 3 rounds whilst being so far ahead on the score cards

Floyd-Not because of power. Not hurt at all.
Cotto - Was stunned yes. But the lowblows didn't affect the outcome.
Clottey - Sorry i saw the fight and did not see Clottey getting hurt at all:huh
    Matthysee - I agree

    Logic says Khan UD.
But of course Judah can bang...

I would love to see Judah win this but my logic says Khan will wipe the floor with him. I hate to say it but I just see Judah losing focus in the early rounds and getting discouraged by Khan's distance jab.
