How many times, if at all, will Hopkins knock Calzaghe down, during their fight?

People are arguing that with Calzaghe being so eager to impress, coming forward and trying to stop Hopkins, he will play right into the old man's hands and get knocked down himself, in the process....

So...one more vote thread: please vote!:D

(it will be interesting to revive these threads after the fight, to see how we all voted!):good

I think once with a Kabary Salem style knockdown where Joe wont be at all hurt but just off balance & embaressed.

I doubt it JC will get knockdown at all.

If so the most likely scenario would be Bhop to surprise JC in the 1st round ALA Casamayor/Katsidas.

But we all know Bhop is a slow starter so thats not going to happen.

Of course the answer is zero. Chris Eubank and Robin Reid are much bigger punchers than BHOP and they did not knock JC down. Dumb thread! When was the last time BHOP KOed an opponent his own size?

So is Kabary Salem a bigger puncher than Eubank & Reid then?

Im going for none, see them uppercuts he took from kessler, a lesser man would of been floored, i dont think hopkins brings as much power as kessler.

In fact, and its just a hunch so am not inviting arguments ....i might put a few quid on joe stopping hopkins tko late rounds with some mad flurries lacy style

Are you people thick? Knockdowns are not always to do with power!

Joe is far more likely to floor Hopkins than vice versa. Its not out of the question though.

I don't think you do know. Did you see Calzaghe's knockdown suffered at the hands of Kabary Salem?

i don't think neither man will be knocked down, calzaghe will be hurt by a few shots in the earlier round then it'll just become a bore fest with both men holding back something similar to hopkins vs taylor 2
