The good thing about Price is he's not scared to take a punch in order to get a punch off. He's confident in his accuracy and power. 8 minutes in... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjWMNRg16mA[/ame]
It's like the Obama fans complaining about Romney being a bully 45-50 years ago when he still still in high school................. Kenmore has raised some good points and asked some good questions, nothing wrong with that. So far he seems durable enough and he def. has serious power. Not much of a jab though................
not sparring stories..amatuer fights..he had quite a gd am carrer but he was wobbled on acassion.which isnt a good sign.i myself have seen him wobbled but it was years ago and i refuse to hold it against him untill i see him fight some big hitters in the pros..but im sure you know as well as i do.when your wobbled often (wobbled legs not flash knock downs) in the ams it dosnt lead to a very long pro carrer.his next three opponents will tell you all you need to know wheather hes being protected or not..
The guy that beat Price and won Gold at the Olympics lost to Anthony Joshua in 2011, looking promising for Joshua to Win Gold at the Olympics in London.
I'm sticking to my guns. Durability is fairly fixed throughout a career. It may improve a little, but not significantly. If anything, it may erode very late in a guy's career. Face it...not everyone is born to be George Chuvalo. Accept it...you will never turn a Tyson Fury into a Ollie McCall. The durability is there or it isn't.
True. The only way around this predicament is if the fighter learns expert defense, or develops such an overwhelming offense that nobody can come close to hitting him.
The same brits saying "why does this matter?" will post about how Vitali was KO'd by a leg kick within the week. Believe it.
Tua got knocked out in the first round in the amateurs, but does that mean he had a bad chin in the pro's? Sometimes fighters get caught at the right spot at the right time and it's light outs. David price might have a bad chin, but everybody said Lennox had a bad chin and i've seen him take bombs and still come back and the same can be said about Judah.
how many times did tua get knocked out in the first round in the ams..and put that to the many times prices legs turn to jelly when he gets hit as an am..i agree with the op..with headgear if your getting wobbled.you will get wobbled when your not wearing it..if price does indeed have a dodgy chin he should start to develop a style to protect it..
