If Lara wants a fight with GGG, his team should call K-2 to see if it can be put together.

Why did Floyd fight maidana 2x instead of khan or Thurman? Floyd could've fought anyone he wanted to anytime he wanted to.

im pretty sure both times Floyd called maidanas people to set up the fights....

and also..he fought maidana again because people liked the first one and everyone was crying how maidana got jobbed...like the bunch of dummies they are

If Lara was a MW and a potential opponent, but not a belt holder or a mandatory, it would obviously fall on his shoulders to try and make a fight if he truly wanted it.

How hard is that to understand?

Quite simple. The onus is on the guy who supposedly wants the fight. Whoever that may be.

Right now, Golovkin's main targets are Alvarez and if not him Saunders. Top ranked middleweights who claim to be rival champs. Not a junior middleweight who has never set foot in the 160 class. Therefore, the onus is on GGG to push for the Canelo fight which he seems to be doing. Likewise, if Lara really wants consideration despite currently fighting in a different weight class and is not just trying to add a few followers to his Twitter account, the onus would be on him.

"TKO" is online now Report Post Top

like u said "gggs main targets"....ggg targets fighters...lara has done his part.....now ggg makes the offer or doesn't....lara isn't gonna propose a venue, money and a date.....that's what ggg does....

so if the fight were possible...the "onus" is on ggg to make an offer...because that's what he does

You have made this thread to hate on GG and nothing more.

What do you mean Lara has done his part?

    He's not even a MW.

    eastpaw

hed be the best fighter that ggg has faced....and he has network exposure....and lara has called him out

now...I fully admit good cases could be made that ggg shouldn't fight him...and those cases have more to do with business at 160 and unifying......but my point is....if the fight were to be made...it would have to be ggg making the call/offer

I don't want to hear one more sad sack of exremenet say "well tell lara to make an offer...he only talks when ggg has fights signed"

Why? Froch would be the A side against GGG and It was K2 who contacted with Eddie Hearn to notify their interest for the fight.
