No, what I'm saying is twitter call out doesn't mean anything as long as there's no official approach from "that guy"'s team to "homie"'s team. Like I said, we know what Lara did to get under the Canelo's skin, which was much more than a twitter call out.

Pretty much. The B side lets it be known they're willing and its up to the A side to reach out and make the phone call that they're interested.

Lara's side making phone calls to GGG are placed on deaf ears.

We already know Lara's side has publicly stated they will fight GGG, in turn GGG's side has basically ignored this and that times that they've addressed it because somebody has pressed them on the issue, they claim Lara to a nobody not worthy of GGG fighting.

To GGG, Lara is pretty much a high risk little reward fight, exactly the situation that Canelo is with GGG.

Lara has publicly stated they will fight GGG. Its up to GGG now to take him up on that offer.

You have to be realistic here as well, Lara isn't going to want to fight GGG for free. He's going to want to get paid, which is exactly the reason to hold off and let GGG's side make the phone call or at the very least publicy acknowledge they are interested in fighting Lara.

All indications from GGG's side is they are not interested in fighting Lara, so unless Lara is willing to take the lesser end of a 90/10 split of the fight purse, he doesn't have a phone call to make.

The answer to this is obvious. Lara has no interest in fighting Golovkin whatsoever. He's just mentioned his name a couple of times on Twitter when he's fully aware that Golovkin has fights scheduled to try and raise his own profile.

If a fighter genuinely wants a fight then they go to lengths to make it. End of. The comments on this thread from certain deranged individuals are a joke. Any fighter can make a phone call to another to kick off negotiations. Any fighter can make an offer to another. If your promoters aren't powerful enough then get some who are.

If Lara genuinely wants a fight with Golovkin then why not get his ass up to middle and fight and beat a couple of former Golovkin opponents. Stevens or Lemieux for example. If he beats them convincingly and without getting his chin cracked then people start talking about him and GGG.

At the moment, GGG has had his hands full for the last year with the Lemieux unification and a mandatory to get out of the way. Next up is Alvarez, a top 10 p4p guy who also holds a middleweight belt and who beat Lara. If that doesn't happen or next up, Saunders has indicated that he might be interested in a unification so he's the logical next option. Legitimate fights against guys in the same weight class. Some junior middleweight posting a couple of ramblings on Twitter (let's face it I doubt GGG follows him) is not going to get a look in unless he actually makes some positive efforts.
