He needs only one more victory, either against Floyd or Shane, for him to be finally enshrined as Top 10 ATG.

Go, Manny, and thank you for saving boxing. :good :good:good:party:party:party:party

I like Manny but i think he has to fight maybe 10 more fights and 5 of those have to be with real champions, win or lose. I wasnt on the 50's but when I see those records with 120 fights and now a fighter cant even pass 50 fights makes me wonder they were real real fighters

A knockout win against Floyd or Mosley, and he'd be in the top 10 easily.

In those days only the fight venue generated money as there were no TV networks that stumped up millions to screen them. So boxers had to fight more often to make a decent amount of cash.

    ooooooooooo 1000th post!

i kinda like this thought process

would be nice to no only see him take on shane and floyd, but to actually get someone who is on the way up, not on the way down, for once

he is still a high ranking ATG of course

He is a ATG but to beat all those guys you said that would make him the #1 of all the time, he has to fight many of them but he doesnt have to beat all of them. An ATG has to have some loses too

Pacman will probably fight 2-3 more times. I cannot see much more.

You can't win if you don't fight.

if he beats Floyd/Mosley and Berto/Quintana winners in dominant fashion then he is a top tenner

actually its too early to say that kind of stuff lets wait till he retires and even till his opponents / future opponents finish their careers.

Well, considering he is the only fighter in history to win world titles in 7 weight classes, I think he's already an ATG.

BUT.. if he wants to be mentioned in the same sentence as Ali, Robinson, Marciano..

He needs to take out Mayweather for sure. Then, I'd like to see him take on the follwing:

    Mosley
    Kahn
    Edwin Valero
    Antonio Margarito
    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Eric Morales

Retire - I think that will about cover it.
