Seconded. That has pretty much been my opinion on anyone beating Tommy Hearns. I'd favor Robinson, Burley, and of coarse Leonard.... Gavilan, Rodriguez, Griffith, and Walker are fair shouts. But I think Hearns would edge them at welter. It's a short list.
Leonard and Robinson ahd Gavilan I think Luis Rodriguez, Emile Griffith and Micky Walker could do it as well. A guy like Felix Trinidad would have a live puncher`s chance but I wouldn`t bet $ on him. Hearns was the better boxer. Hearns was an uncommon talent. A great offenisve force but I do believe there are some guys that could take him into deep water the way Leonard was able to.
Leonard fot e dreind vershen of Hearns . Paul Williams stands e beter chanc dan most giv him Not det I necesarily pik him 2 win bat Williams shur hed beter tuls dan eny1 els WSJ iz e pikem bat I du anderstend Y hi iz konsiderd e feivorit in zis If Burley stud ap 2 Archibldo Wright , Ezzard Charles*2 end Lloyd Marshall den Tommys wud probably not bomb him aut . He moved his head pretty good though your right he did get hit because he was so aggressive. I do think Carmen had the chin/balls and durability to do the job though I wouldn`t be sure about it. I saw Carmen take one of Ray Robinson`s A+ hooks flush and not really budge.
