Obviously Cobra froch has beaten Taylor who was top 10 a couple of years ago or so.

But flicking through his CV and there's nobody.

Not that it matters, as Taylor has a bunch of P4P wins on his record, yet is not favourite.

Just another consideration for the super six.

'p4p guys' are not a dime a dozen, especially in the 160-175. He has beaten some quality comp, as well as pushing Calzaghe hard.

If kess wins the super six as I think he will do I think he should be ranked in everybodies top10.

He doesn't have any but he has some very dominating wins over some good opposition.

Apart from the Calzaghe fight, he has rarely looked troubled. I hope he gets his managerial **** sorted out, because he's a great boxer if given the opportunity.

I still think Calzaghe's win over Kessler is a bit underrated. Providing he's managed accordingly, the Kessler scalp will look a lot better come the end of Kessler's career.

    None.

And Taylor was never top 10 P4P. He was and always will be an HBO fraud, until he got found out against Pavlik and chucked on the scrapheap.

personally i think winning 4-5 rounds anf giving a very tough fight to a top 3 P4P fighter is better than loosing almost every round and scraping a KO victory over a top 20 guy.

I gave him the first fight against Hopkins, and that was being generous. He lost Hopkins II, Winky fight a draw may of been fair, he certainly didn't win. He was an HBO fraud, they built him up, Pavlik knocked him down and everybody could see him for what he really was. Top 5 is hilarious.

Yeah and they had Pavlik five or six after beating Taylor, Tarver top three after beating Jones and Margarito top five after beating Cotto.

All that proves is that, despite most boxing fans saying 'styles make fights' every five sentences, they will then invariably proclaim someone a top P4P fighter based on beating one solitary opponent.

Taylor never should have been considered a top ten P4P fighter and never justified that position.

Kessler cleared out a weak supermiddle division then lost to Joe since then the problems with Palle and the WBA's mando has really hindered his record. To be fair there isn't many people he could have got on his resume that were P4P'ers as the supermiddle has only came to life in the last year or so.

So did I, thought the Winky decision was poor.

Taylor has fought very tough oppo

He lost very late to Froch and VERY nearly KO'ed Pavlik early, he is clearly a top line fighter, he's just lacking a certain something (desire?)
