    khan
    haye
    burns
    brook
    cleverly

ill go with 6, their are others in contention but these are my favourites to still be world elite.

Khan - Depends if he fights Bradley.
Haye - Depends if he fights Wlad/Retires.
Burns - Probably will the way Frank is promoting him so far.
Cleverly - I'd fancy him against Braehmer if Frank could bring him over.
Froch - Don't fancy his chances against Ward in America, unfortunately.
Brook - I don't fancy his chances if he has to fight Jones.

    I'll say 3 then.

froch-Will have to beat Ward would love to see it but a lot depends on where it happens.
khan-Will have to fight the winner of Bradley vs Alexander I think he beats either 2012 will be his big year.
    haye-Retired by years end:-((and I am a fan)
burns-Depends om matchmaking saying that though he has the capacity to surprise.
brook-Only if the top 20 welters get killed by swine flu.
cleverly-Against Braemher yes the other beltholders no chance(yet)

I'm fairly confident Khan will still be champion, but I think Ward will beat Froch and Haye will either lose to a Klitschko or will have retired by the end of the year. Burns will keep his title as long as he's fighting soft touches, and the division is so weak that I'd fancy his chances against Fana (but not Ao or Uchiyama, plus Burns won't fight in Japan, Fana might come to the UK).

In terms of new champions I expect Cleverly to either beat Brahmer or he'll get the belt if Brahmer dodges him. But if he fights a Cloud, Dawson or Shumenov he could lose his title by the end of the year. Warren will probably get him to make and easy defence before then so I reckon he'll be a titleholder at the end of the year. Brook will beat Mike Jones if that fight ever happens, and he'll get the belt as Pacquiao will vacate if they try and force a mandatory on him. There are a few others with outside shots at claiming a belt as well.

    So I'd say 4.

Cleverly, Degale, Barker, Munroe, Chisora could all be challenging for titles before the year is out.

Froch will face a tough task retaining his title.

Haye and Burns chances largely depend on who they choose to fight.

Khan looks the strongest Champion imo.

I would go with 4 titles by years end but with at least one new face in the line up.

don't forget we have many others who will possibly get a shot this year aswell: john murray, rendeal munroe, john odonnell, jose olusegun, kevin mitchell, maybe james degale, matthew macklin, darren barker, scot quigg, derek chisora, ryan rhodes, stephen foster, jamie mcdonnell. all these guys are in contenntion and theres a good chance 2 or 3 could grab a title. most of them are as talented as ricky burns who won a belt last year.

khan is my favourite to retain his title. the others will be tested big time.

Haye, Khan, Froch will have a version of the world title end of 2011 I think
Munroe and Cleverly have a good chance, I'm unsure with Burns and think it will be too early for Degale
I also think kel brook will lose a world title fight.
This is all my opinion obviously
