Wilder has taken belt milking to a new level.

Joshua doesn't seem to be willing to fight anyone in the top ten either.

Ortiz will get his title shot, likely vs a non-top opponent too.

It's to like the top ten is very deep with talent these days. Come on guys fight someone who can fight back a little soon. Fans aren't going to watch these glorified sparring sessions for much longer.

we better. no reason why we shouldnt.
if wlad is sticking around i dont think hes gunna really wanna mix it up rite away. he was gonna fight aj but now i dont think so he will take a tune up fight then after he will be ready.

but after joshua fights molina his next fight im sure will be a major one. vs wilder, ortiz , or wlad

and also povetkin will beat stiverne then we might get wilder vs povetkin..

but you know wilder is gonna fight another type of fighter that he has been fighting . not like hes been fighting bums but he has not been fighting the best. cuz ortiz , wlad, fury, have been there for a while

wilder vs kauffman or washington in come back fight maybe wawrzrx

Wlad vs. AJ will be massive in 2017 if it happens.

It looks like the average is one and a half fights per year. So far we are six years into this decade with only four fights made. Too bad Dereck Chisora is just the Bert Cooper of the '10s. He's already fought five of the best guys.

As much as people hate on Wlad he was consistently fighting the best the division had to offer.

    Cool info.

    80s: 1.7 fights/yr
    90s: 1.7 fights/yr
    00s: 1.5 fights/yr
    10s: 0.57 fights/yr (so far)

Nice, roughly a third of average.

Clearly we can expect around twelve top10 v top10 fights in the next 3 years to catch up to the average.

    That's 4 fights a year.

    Well, I'm excited.

That's sort of what it looks like. He's the only one fighting top guys for the last seven years. Either the other good guys were too old, too young, or too scared. You can totally see the sea change after Lewis retires. Most of the top heavyweight fights in the 2000s fell into the first three or four years. Either Wlad and Vitali were too dominant that nobody wanted to challenge them, or they all started ducking each other so as not to screw up their chance at a title fight and big money. Wlad is taking care of business in this decade, but he's the only one. None of the contenders are fighting each other for primacy to see who should take over once he's gone.

Hw division is deep but a bunch of pussies. A fight between any of the following would be great but see my first sentence :
    Fury
    Wlad
    Wilder
    Ortiz
    Parker
    Povetkin
    Joshua

    1. The division had nothing to offer and he still tag teamed it with his bro who avenged his loses for him.

    2. 10 years of very ordinary competition were never given a fair opportunity to win. He had to rig the system to rule above the worst list of contenders in HW history. Losing 4 times and deserving multiple DQ loses along the way.
