How many years do you think GGG will dominate?

hes good enough to beat jacobs....hes good enough to beat the rest of the current MW crop.....

No. he will have been beaten within 18 months. Mark my words GGG will not beat canelo, canelo's handlers wont put canelo in with him unless they are either sure canelo wins or have MADE SURE canelo wins. Just think of tyson frazier lamotta hagler chavez sr all at the age of 35 fighters with that style simply dont last that long. atleast not vs top opposition. Tyson could still knock out guys like brian nielsen and clifford etienne and look capable at 35-36 but look at what happened when he fought lewis.

 

He'll last as long as he wants to. His hardest job will be getting opponents with the stones to face him

Lennox is a year older than Tyson. And GGG fights not at all like Mike Tyson.

 

exactly. thats my point. GGG can still look like a killer vs dominic wade and etc, his decline would be less visible vs those opponents because they would be incapable of taking advantage of him "slipping". Thats why i said tyson still looked capable beating up nielsen but looked completely finished vs lewis. The decline becomes much more visible vs top elite opponents.
Infact i saw a video of tyson hitting the bag in 2015 or 2016 and he doesnt look bad....you get the point

Jacobs is the most dangerous opponent since a while. Derevyanschenko and Brant are dangerous too.
But I think Golovkin can dominate at 160 for 2 or 3 more years.
Hope the Canelo fights will happen

 

Unless he ages rapidly, in performance that is, Who do you pick to LEGITIMATELY beat him???As for Canelo when you post " Canelo's handlers will MAKE SURE he wins" That says to me that they & you do not think Camelo could legitimately beat GGG & he'd have to CHEAT to win.
Any man that LEGITIMATELY beats Gennady has my utmost respect. Maybe it'll be Danny Jacobs we'll see

 

dont forget about charlo comin up...i think charlo needs a few fights at 160...to get used to it and to prove he can handle it...but if he does/can i think he could be a problem in a year or year and a half...maybe one that golovkin would want to avoid

 

A couple of more years if he stays at 160. Andrade and the Charlo brother will be able to give him a stern test once they move up and get comfortable at the weight.

i still dont think its fair to make the tyson to ggg/canelo comparison using lennox lewis....canelo is smaller than ggg ...not by much but smaller...whereas tyson was facing a bit climb against lewis....and lewis was so much more skilled than the guys tyson was fighting

 

I dont know if he can do it legitmately because i dont know how well Canelo could take a GGG bomb and fire back and he would have to fight 3 minutes every round and push GGG on the backfoot as well, with his cement feet no way he can box or run from GGG. GG cuts off the ring so canelo would have to push G back. Willie monroe had decent success that way, all things considered, once he couldnt run anymore
The reason i said his handlers will MAKE sure is because canelo seems to get the benefit of the doubt more often than not on the scorecards.
