1, competing against the best. I think he could retire this year really. Canelo, then Saunders and bow out. 1+ if he doesn't mind picking up losses. I hope he does the 2 fights mentioned and calls it quits

If he would’ve fought good competition early on, his career would’ve already been over. Two fights of solid competition and he’s already “old and deteriorating”. Just going by most of you fans logic.

You can’t tell me his resume qualifies as a solid HOF’er, let alone ATG how much of you claim. That’s just being real. Many of you question Floyd and Ward. By your standards this guy is not even a HOF. He doesn’t come close to those guys.

Why do you want him out of the game if you're such a fan? If he's able to blow Charlo away then surly he's good enough to stay around another 2-3 years.

Look at Bado Jack at 34.. I don't see anybody calling for him to retire. If you ask me , people wan't GGG out before he gets turned over. :rambo1:

Because I don't want him picking up losses against inferior fighters down to age, I don't care if that's boxing, it will irritate the life out of me if he loses to say Charlo in 2 years time and some nause like you will be saying " he always would've of lost to him, imagine what Ward would've done to him ect..
Lol, you do realise that GGG has far more mileage on him than Jack don't you ??

Carl Froch was two years older than GGG is now when he slept prime best ever George Groves. Mayweather was older and had more miles on his clock when he schooled Canelo.

GGG just like Jack is fresh and has low mileage.. GGG has had just two fights at top level ffs and he took minimal damage in both of them.
If you ask me , all the soup cans GGG likes to dominate have left the kitchen .

yeh i will admit leaving it till 33 to challenge for a recognised world title is kinda late in the books.

you gotta wonder what he was thinking for 10 years previous. This is the one thing I dont get about him, he was happy to let his talent rot in subeuro title defences all that time that are worthless.

He's been recognised as the best for near on 10 yrs. If he was British or American the doors would've opened up years earlier for him...He had everyone behind their door peeping, hoping he didn't come knocking, scared stiff. Until this fantastic fighter started showing signs of slowing, anyone with a belt or a position either ran or took beatings. Simples

The difference is GGG tried fighting everyone but they were all too afraid to step up to the plate.

If he beats Canelo for the 2nd time and Saunders, he's cemented his place as a HOF and ATG and that's the end of it.
