His team is letting GBP pick the venue because between the two, guess which one has more pull and leverage? GBP. That's the fact of the matter.

Again, how is he washed? Is 3G shot? Has he deteriorated greatly since he fought Canelo last Sept? canelo or GBp doesn't tell him when to train. That;s just silly. He can enter a gym whenever he likes. Do you think he's just sitting doing nothing and waiting? Because....an article hasn't told you what he's up to?

3G was never going to stay on a 3 fight schedule until he retired. That's just not feasable, or realistic.

I agree that the quality of opponents has held him back - but I'd rate him above Mayweather. Golovkin had a lot of problems getting opponents who were man enough to get in the ring with him. Mayweathee was a good boxer, but he was all talk and ducked basically all of the fights that would have entitled him to a claim to being one of the best of his era. It's easy to be undefeated if you stay out of the ring, that's fundamentally Mayweather's legacy.

As long as he wants if he goes back to fighting Rosado's, Wade's, Ishida's, and Stevens'.

The elite level of opposition that he recently stepped up to, I'd imagine still a couple years maybe, win some lose some.

Can’t agree with that at all. G ducked people too and received passes. Most people just don’t want to admit this.

Private Benjamin will say Lara and Ward. He's been spoonfed that crap for so long he buys it at the store in bulk. He actually believes talking **** on twitter is how to really make a fight...

The truth is that 1 Canelo fight equals 7-8 regular opponents. 15-20 million per Canelo fight vs 2 million for a regular opponent. Whether Oscar is dictating his career doesn’t matter as that’s way less fights and training camps for a whole lot of money. GGG is fortunate to be fighting the biggest cash cow stateside TWICE in a row. Every other boxer would do the same thing.

Why is this so difficult for some people to understand? This is what professional prize fighting is all about.

Some guys take too much wear and tear in the gym , few boxers train as hard as GGG . His style is just not meant for longevity and he seems to have fell in love with his power as many boxers do . I thought Canelo was the smarter fighter in their last fight . GGG will have to do things differently and take more risks if he expects to win ... which is possible .. going to the body more is key .

GGG can fight competitively for a few more years .... it wouldn't surprise me if he is retired by this time next year .

I think Golovkin should knock El Pollo out, he has to beat El Pollo, the referee, boxing commission and the judges, then beat Saunders, after that either a rubber match with El Pollo or retire...................nothing else for him to accomplish. Oscar will do his best to cheat Golovkin, Oscar has purposefully kept Golovkin from fighting for two years to create ring rust, Oscar is doing all he can to destroy Golovkin's career.

2 at most. We will see him fighting Canelo if he is on the decline.

He ignores the fact Ward is on record saying he doesn't want anything to do with GGG and retired shortly after making that statement.
