Given that he's already 33 how many years do you think he has in the sport? Personally I think he could go on for 5-7 years. His style doesn't really rely on athleticism and he doesn't take a lot of punishment in fights.

I think he'll be prime for 4 or 5 years more.

Golovkin says like 7 more years. Lucky for him, his fights don't last very long so it's not as if he's taking that much punishment and straining his body. Lol

    Depends.. hard to say

He could get old overnight, or if he keeps in gym , doesnt ping pong in weight, and does not severely injure himself in training (less likely when you are always in shape and not starving yourself/ overexerting yourself to make up for slovenly off-time) last another 7 years at near-peak.

Depends on how much punishment he takes as well.

Lots of people take it for granted that you lose a lot with age. But honestly, until at least your 40's, if you lose much its due to taking physical abuse. If you stay healthy and dont take any real damage in fights or training you can hypothetically perform 99% as well at 40 as you did at 30.

Or you can get into a war of a fight, take extra time off, injure yourself in next camp and basically be done at any time.

Oddly enough, his style isn't as dependent on youth as it'd appear on first glance because of how economical his movement is. Combine that with his counterpunching and power, and he should be around and at a high level for at least another 5 years if he wants to be.

    Why?

It's most likely he'd lose to Ward. Why would an expected loss to a better boxer at a higher weight class that he has no experience in lead to the end of his career?

Oh wait, you must be a troll and your answer is just sarcasm or immature trolling.

Regarding the thread question, I would guess at least three more years, maybe five.

I think Abel Sanchez said 3-5 years. I hope he goes some after that though, his style is great for fans.
