Lot of Cotto vs Hatton talk going around on ESB. Let's hear what the faithful have to say on the matter.

at 140 Hatton keeps up well i think. at 147 they have a few good rounds and Cotto takes him apart to the body after about 6 or so

Cotto has good movement with his back to the ropes so as long as he keeps away from Hatton's left hook to the body he'll be able to outbox him.

    Who is Hatton's trainer now?

Reasonably close IMO. But I think Cotto has the tools to deal with Hatton although I wouldn't be suprised if Hatton rocked him

Hatton's chin is made of china now, Cotto is and always has been on another level skill wise.

So how do you guys see Hatton even having a chance? He couldn't out muscle him, he couldn't out box him, and Cotto may have durability issues but Hatton is shot? There isn't one area in which Hatton has the advantage.

I think Hatton would be the ideal bounce back fight for Cotto, it would be a nice payday with a big name and a relatively easy fight.

Hatton still has power. Cotto's no defensive master & Hatton is quick on his feet. I don't think it'd be as easy as expected. although I don't think Hatton has a chance I don't see Cotto destroying him as quickly or easily as Pac did

if the fight is held at anything but 147, the fight will be sloppy w/ a bunch of holding and smothering. like sat night, cotto wont be able to get off a lot of punches b/c of the weight drain. and RH likes to hold and smother at any weight.

It depends on how much was taken out of Cotto after this fight. If he is still the same fighter then I take him by mid to late KO/TKO. The fight would have to be at 147 or a catchweight, Cotto left 140 for a reason and I don't see him getting down to 140 ever again.
