They are running out of things to hide behind. They should at least blame K2 for Ggg's failures to secure a big fight.

Right but this fight isn't doing 2 million buys. My point is that Canelo made chump change compared to Floyd. I know Canelo isn't Floyd but had Canelo would've been in Golovkin's shoes, he'd accept $10m.

Im thinking they'd want something like 40% of the total purse. No flat payout at all but a percentage of all income.

    Asking for 40% isn't unreasonable.

People were critisizing Pac for rejecting Floyd's offer of $40m and he ended up making 3x that amount.

I think GGG should accept anything above 35% tbh - they should roll the dice on that instead of accepting a flat fee.

Offering 10-12mill + Kazakhstan TV money is a great offer, I think GBP should roll the dice on that

Couldn't that be said of Canelo since his last fight tanked that Canelo against nondescript opponent....

Canelo scraped the bottom of the barrel(no offense to Smith) and still managed to bring in over 50k fans to a stadium. The 300K PPV buys was expected vs someone like Liam.

you mean 250k not 300k and filling up a stadium on a Mexican holiday in Texas really isn't surprising if it was NY that would be impressive. and 250k is crap especially for the self proclaimed face of boxing on a Mexican holiday.

300k is the last "official" number I recall and seems to be the accepted number, except by those who seem to have an agenda. But we can go with 250k if you prefer, that's still almost twice what GGG did vs Lemieux, who has much more name recognition.
What exactly is the point that you're trying to make, that GGG is a bigger star than Canelo? or that Canelo is not really "the face of boxing"?

This is pathetic. The Goons are always talking about the money, like they think because they defend him on here to the death, that GGG is going to throw them a bone... Idiots. If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times, Take the 10 mill plus PPV and go and beat Canelo IF he can, or go and fight Heiland or Toureano for 2 mill.

Nope. It's 300k.. so instead of 150k for GGG/Lemieux let's take that away and put it to 97k like the earlier reports suggested and Canelo still sold more than 150k ppv buys more against domestic Smith then GGG did against better known Lemieux.. LOL

Pacquaio>>>>>>>>GGG.. Stop using that comparison. Canelo and GGG are not on the levels of that fight as far as money goes.
