Surely this is just a complete no brainer? I don’t usually bet “big” (big for me is several hundred) but it’s looking likely that this is the fight where I’m going balls to the wall.

I've not had a bet for over two years. Not to bore people, but I've got an extreme personality, I either bet 0.50p or £1000. There's no inbetween, so as a result it led to me getting in some significant debt several years back.

Often I see some boxing odds that make me start sweating but I resist the urge. Which is a good thing as I was salivating at Takam being 4/7 against Chisora and for that KSI/Paul fight not to last the distance at 5/6. The Mayweather/McGregor farce was printing money if not for the doubt of any shady fixing going on or I would have buckled at that.

As for this fight, just checked the odds and seen that Kuzmin to win by stoppage or DQ is 2/7. 1/5 just to win iirc. It surely will happen but for some reason it's not got me sweating like the aforementioned bets. I've seen Pricey say several times now that he had short notice for this fight. We know he was in training for Turner but when Turner pulled out I wonder if there was a week or two where Pricey never trained as a result. If so, he might have lost a good bit of ground in his camp.

I might request a bet for Adam Smith to say the following:

"Oh dear, dear, dear, dear, dear. Well it's all gone horribly wrong for David Price"

"He's finally back on his feet which is great to see, and listen to the rapturous applause from the crowd for the giant Liverpudlian".

It’s 1/3 on Sky Bet. This is the biggest banker for me in years.

I've saw Kuzmin at 10/3 to get the KO in rounds 6-10. Obviously he's expected to get an early KO, but I'm tempted to stick this on. Price made it to round 5 against Povetkin, could he last a little longer against Kuzmin?

Kuzmin v Joyce is all I need to see to assume that Kuzmin is not going to **** around here and go for the kill quickly. IMO he’ll try to catch Price cold. It was slightly higher risk for Povetkin because he had the Joshua payday on the line. Kuzmin has no profile at all across the world and an explosive highlight reel KO is the only reason why his management has asked for this fight.

Would usually back the Brit but you have to be realistic here! Hasnt Price took this at short notice as well??

I am not sure I have seen the Kuzmin v Joyce performance repeated anywhere else, he put Malcolm Tann out in 4 while Dillian did it in 3.

Joyce was getting ragdolled and can't help but think Joyce was in very bad form, and Kuzmin was excellent that day. He failed to stop Amir Mansour.

Price nearly stopped Povetkin - maybe he'll learn his lesson now to keep his guard up at all times and to capitalise on a hurt opponent.

    I'll back pricey.

I might bank on it on live betting after Price scores a knockdown.

I tend to avoid betting on boxing, especially heavyweights.
If the odds were shorter i'd have a flutter.

But if you lump on and there's a big shot...

Price has apparently been taking out all comers in sparring.

I hope so. Would love the big man to pull off the upset. Just a shame the stadium will be empty when he's on.

IMO it's a poor bet. Even though price has lost 5 times out of the 4 times he has lost, he has given the person a count still.

Factor in that against Povetkin he looked as good as he has for a long time, I think it really isn't a good bet.

It's come to the point with price now that against him, they've factored in the chance for him to lose by KO so much that there isn't value to back his opponents long term now.

Price could get blasted out in a round, but it still doesn't mean its a good bet when you factor in everything.

Your better off in general at looking at odds between 1.80 - 3.00 on any type of betting market. This is because there is less certainty on opinion, so there tends to be more opportunities for spotting a 'wrong' price, aka as a value bet.
