How much better would a 100% healthy Joe Frazier have been?

That is not my point, which is, if Frazier had three eyes he would still have fought exactly the same.
Uzcudun fought his entire career with a mishapen left arm ,[ caused by an accident with an axe,] which meant he could not jab, if his arm had been 100% it would have made no discernable difference to his style.Tami Mauriello had one leg shorter than the other. Marciano's back used to seize up on him .

I'm sick of hearing all the excuses about Frazier being washed up at 29 whereas Ali at the same age after nearly 4 years out is somehow in top shape.
If Frazier chose to defend against two nobodies, tying up the title for 2 years, put on weight and went round trying to sing that's his fault.

    Its bollocks.

I don't understand. Uzcudun had a f*cked left arm which meant he couldn't jab, but if he'd had a 100% arm and a jab, it would have made little difference to his style ???

Frazier died at 67. Ali is still alive at 71.
Is that even possible by your reckoning ?

    Yes, true.

I honestly believe Ali took a lot out of Frazier in 1971, and Frazier had taken plenty of punishment prior to that in other fights. I tend to think this is what ages fighters, so Frazier was never the same again.
Also some people do have more health issues than others, that's life. I can't say how much that did Frazier in, I don't know. There's no need for excuses, as we both know.

    Of course.
Not sure you understand the point though. (Though it's fairly easy)
In the event that someone punches your eye closed, the level of normal sight in the remaining eye is important.
Someone with bad eyesight is at a disadvantage. END OF.

    (or .. what McGrain said)

Frazier himself stated his inadequacy regarding his right hand. Ive never read much of Sugar....my thoughts are reality based on what I saw and heard during the period in time and the concensus of the boxing community. Anyone can, when on an opponents chest, us both hands to punch. The coordination between both fists can be seen at mid distance when a fighter is throwing combinations. Here with joe it was 95 percent hook. Watch his bouts with Ali and count how many right hands he lands or even attemps mid distance. ...very few and only a handful land and you never see combinations from Joe mid distance involving his rig ht....all hook. I can site several after bout inter views with joe where he himself talks about developing his right....late in his career. This is well known from those who lived in and through yhat time. Frazier was a converted southpaw so its no surprise that he so very favored his left and his right lacked the coordination of conventional great hwts.

    Ok. My apologies.
So I take it you did understand the point and just chose to reply with some absurd statements that don't really believe.

Once again...this is common knowledge. This is another in a long list of those who don't have a full grasp of the time period trying to create their own history. As a converted southpaw it's not surprising his right as much less than it needed to be. If Joe had the coordination of his right as did Louis or even a Shavers he indeed would be rated much higher today and more than likely he would have stopped Ali in fight one. As is Frazier was a left hooker and a great one....but not much from the right side.

If your ability to see punches are better then you are hit less ect...... so yes Joe would be a better fighter.

No, if Frazier had three eyes he would be able to see punches coming that he otherwise would not be able to see coming, and react accordingly.

Just as he would by having two good eyes. I mean the whole point of his inability to slip Ali punches late in the Manilla fight was an eyesight issue. His good eye was banged up and his bad eye was...bad. Now you're saying that if his bad eye was good that wouldn't have made a different?

The trigger for Futch cutting the gloves was Joe's answer to the question, "What's going on with his right hand?"

    "Can't see 'em too good."

If Joe could see the right hand better (as he very possibly could with two good eyes rather than one), he certainly doesn't give that answer and likely doesn't get hit so much.

So, it is not necessarily likely but also possible that whilst Frazier's style would not be changed by his having two good eyes, boxing history may have been completely changed.

Whether he was "washed up" or not, I don't know, but I know it's not "bollocks" that he had one very bad eye, and I know, beyond a question of a shadow of a doubt that having two good eyes would have improved his ability to slip some punches. I mean, it is 100% obvious to me.
