Lewis was a pretty good businessman, picking the perfect times for him to face Holyfield and Tyson.

I view Lennox as a top 5 ATG, and this is before he fought Vitali.

Lewis could have fought Holyfield sooner. Why not in 1997 or 1998?

For Tyson, why not 1999 or 2000?

Using dated from 1995-1997 are just that. It is a fact that both Tyson and Holyfield had more left 2-3 years before Lewis fought them. Hence Lewis caught them at a time when he was still in his prime, and they were not.

Excuses proven to be 100% valid. Once Lewis came in ready Rahman was never going to be good enough.

And anyone with half a clue realises Rahman was extremely lucky to face an (very rare) underprepared version of Lewis and would be cold c0cked every other time.

With both in shape and fully prepared we saw the result.
