He should get a ton a credit from the boxing public...Manny has proved to be a absolute beast of a fighter moving up in weight..His destruction of Cotto at welterweight should dispell any notion that there needs to be a catchweight for it to be a fair fight. Manny right now, appears to be an indestructible force...Anybody whose able to tame this animal south of 147 deserves all the credit in the world

But trust me, the haters will find a way to **** on Floyd if he does win...Its in their DNA, they can't help it bless their hearts:verysad

hell, yes. but does he care if he gets credit or not? i mean, he fought jmm even though he knew that he wouldn't get credit fighting a 135lbers.

JMM was just a warm up fight just too see where his skill were at.. this way he can test his skill with out taking serious damage.. This way when he faces a fighter like pac or cotto he will be ready .. That my opinion

You are probably right about the haters. Already in this thread you read comments like "he should win because he's bigger" and "he won't get credit if he just wins an decision without taking chances."

Mayweather, just like anyone else, should get a ton of credit if he beats Manny, whether you're a fan of his or not.

yeah I guess people still don't get the fact that a tune-up with the p4p #2 after an 18 month layoff isn't a career defining fight. :-(

Manny has already been KOed so Mayweather is supposed to win by KO. Also he has a longer reach and has been fighting above 140 for much longer than Pac.

Who should he fight then??? a 40 year old Shane, he'll NEVER get any credit for that win, we can say he will right now, but TRUST ME haters will certaintly find a way to flip the script if time ever came for that fight. And I completely scoff at the idea that Floyd is somehow still too big for Manny, that makes ZERO sense

He would get massive credit from me and he should off everyone else. Pac has just destroyed a legit Welter in Cotto.

If u beat the best fighter in the world you should get the credit due to you...if floyd beats him than he just beat the best in the world...isn't much more to do after beating the best

Great Post! However....I don't think they'll be rematch. I think Floyd will be in a true WAR...one that he edges and never wants to revist again. Floyd ain't like Robinson...who had war with Lamatta and went back into the mouth of the beast. Floyd wins and he's out! PAC needs to make sure he makes the most of his one and only shot a Floyd in my opinion and he can win....I jsut think Floyd will be fighting in a way that gives PAC very little opportunity to mount any real meaningful attack long enough to win him the fight. Now.....PAC will make Foyd fight...but I see Floyd using his height, reach and speed to get the **** outa dodge when things get hot.

Because PW has advantages (height, reach) that will make the fight difficult for PBF to stay outside and jab/dodge for 12 rounds. He would have to take risks getting in, doing damage and forcing exchanges inside.

It would be a different kind of fight than we usually see from him.

Fighting Pac he could stay outside, dance/run and get a win on points.
