I guarantee During the Fight (Not after, because Floyd will dominate from the opening bell) there will be at least 15 threads saying...

"Yeah So, he beat another smaller guy...why didn't he fight Margarito, Mosley....blah blah blah".

In a thread I created a while ago called "The Double Standard of Floyd Mayweather" I ended it with this statement:

"FLOYD MAYWEATHER WILL GO INTO THE HALL OF FAME AS THE MOST DIS-RESPECTED FIGHTER IN THE HISTORY OF THE SPORT".

THer will be....just like there are 15+ threads saying Cotto was shot, weight drained, not the same ect after the PAC domination. It's the nature of the sport and the fans who make it up.

I'm a big pac fan and I really don't like Floyd but I'll give him props and be man enough to acknowledge him unlike some of his c*cksuckers here who bitches about everything from who should call who and purse splits like they're Ellerbe and haymon themsleves.

If they fight and PBF wins, then I think it will go a long way to restore his rep, and counter some of the criticism he gets for cherry picking. Of course, there will be those that say he only took the fight because Pac is so much smaller, etc. In this case, I don't think that should apply as this is THE fight that needs to happen. Everybody wants it to happen. But the criticism up to this point in my estimation is warranted and but PBF has himself to thank for that. And in terms of if and how he wins, I don't care how a guy wins a fight.(Within the rules of course). Its a case of function over form.....yo do whatever you need to do to win.

A victory for either fighter would be their biggest win in my opinion... Manny has proven that he is not only good at WW but a complete beast and P4P number 1. Mayweather got his pound for pound spot when Jones and Hopkins lost, Manny got his when PBF retired.

It is a unique situation when the 2 current pound for pound best duke it out for supremacy which is not effected by someone retiring or losing to someone else.... They need to get it on.
