I mean, he is bigger and better skilled. And he is the favourite by the bookmakers. Is this will be his biggest career achievement ?

I don't see how you can say that Floyd has a significant weight advantage when they're fighting in the same weight class.

I would think he should get the full amount, Pac is after all the best fighter to fight in this era...at least that's what everyone is saying.

Any objective person will give Floyd a ton of credit. For some people though, Floyd has to beat someone bigger, stronger, faster, more skilled, younger, undefeated, who has fought at WW or higher for the past several fights, and who also had no problem making weight, and had no outside distractions, and who was healty betting fav over Floyd in order to give Floyd a lot of credit. Floyd would also have to win a clear, but somewhat close and exciting fight were he brawled with the guy but didn't take too many shots. This fighter of course doesn't exist, and this scenario will never happen. Some people will always regardless.

All you would say is that Mayweather beat an old Mosely. You will then say he took the Mosely fight because he was scared of Pac.

Looks like Floyd has already convinced you not to fight Pac, do you want him to fight Amir Khan instead?

he'll get a shitload of credit.

I think Floyd got the most credit when he beat Corrales, and after that Gatti and then Hatton. A win over Pacqiuao overshadows all those wins. Even if its not as dominant and even with the size difference.

Just let them fight. I never understand this obsession in boxing. When a team beats another in some sport very rarely is the win scrutinised to death in an attempt to establish some kind of just conclusion. If these two fight then the situation is this: They're the two top guys in the sport and it will be one of the biggest fights in a very long time. Whomever wins, wins. And it'll take an enormous effort to do so.

I remember Uncle Roger giving Pac credit for even facing Cotto, saying he is very brave!
